StarDragon Studios grew from a single custom commission into a working studio and a small community of artists and collectors. It is a place to commission a one-of-a-kind piece built around the story you want to tell, collect an archival print of a finished work, or submit your own art to be considered for the shop.

A studio for fantasy art, built around story
StarDragon Studios is a fantasy and nature art studio that makes one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces and collectible archival prints. Every commission starts with the story you want the work to tell, and every print is reproduced on museum-grade giclée stock. It is also a small community — the Dragon Kin membership and our community-art submission model let other artists and collectors take part in the studio's work.
What we make
- Custom commissions — Original character portraits, fantasy scenes, landscapes, and nature studies drawn to your brief.
- Archival prints — Giclée prints of finished works, made to order on museum-grade stock and shipped in 3–5 business days.
- Dragon Kin membership — Early access to new works, members-only galleries, monthly wallpapers, and direct contact with the studio.
- Community submissions — Artists can submit work for consideration, with royalties paid on anything that sells through the shop.
How a commission works
- 1.
Inquiry
You tell us about the piece you want — the subject, the feeling, and the story it should tell. We talk it through together before anything is drawn.
- 2.
Concept & quote
We send back a rough concept and a fixed-price quote. Nothing is drawn in full until you approve the concept and the price.
- 3.
Drafting
The artist drafts the composition and you review it at each stage — sketch, then ink or underpainting, then final color. You steer the work as it comes together.
- 4.
Final delivery
You receive the finished artwork as a high-resolution file and, optionally, as a printed giclée. The work is yours.
